Famili Trip 2 Jay Beeeeeee
Sigh….why wonderful moment always ended so fast?
It just seem like yesterday when we had our family meeting at Cheemz’s place to discuss about our family outing. This time we planned to bring my Bukit Jalil family to my lovely hometown—JB. Me, huan & Winnie become the coordinator cum tour guide cum driver that responsible for the whole trip.Our job is to promote JB to the fullest and to make the trip runs smoothly.
Day 1—-5/8/06
Me and Huan went Larkin to pick our family member from KL around 1.30pm. Then we straight away charged to WW for JB most famous laksa. Then we brought them to visit MSAB and of course SETA ( me & huan secondary sch).Then those who were in my car went to visit the Sultanah Aminah Hosp although somebody from Pahang kept saying that the hosp is small, not that impressive and almost same as Temerloh hosp, still we got acknowledgement from Sarawakian:P Since JB is known as food and shoppers paradise, we brought the group to famous ABC shop near Wisma Persekutuan directly after lunch.
Then we went on to City Square after the filling Ais kacang and Tauhu bakar feast.It took me almost 40 mins from there to get into CS parking lot( normally if no jam 10 mins can reach). Really getting frustrated especially when all u can see at the carpark entrance is a sign "FULL". What to do, JB has nothing but people! Shopped at CS till dinner time. We went to San Lou to have our dinner. Had the famous fried bee hoon and other dishes. Then we went on to our food trip. This round we went to Anjung Warisan aka Treetop at Jln Petri. Got a bit problem to get there haha…too bad la im born to hv problem with sense of direction. Luckily got Jem the hero to come and rescue my poor lost kelisa. Drank and ate a chocolate cake from iron chef Yih Seong at treetop. Then went back Huan’s place around midnight.
Day 2—-6/8/06
Supposed to wake up around 8 and go jogging at Tmn Istana on Sunday morning. But then as my whole family are inherited with sleeping genes, we woke up around 10.30am. We went to Cathay to eat beef & duck noodles around 11am.Again we got to wait by the side of others’ table as there were really too many ppl waiting for the sits. Hai..Since when JB become so pack?? After breakfast cum lunch we went to Tmn Istana sight-seeing. I think that is 1 of the scenic place in JB. Took lots of photo there till YYW say we are now officially PP ( professional posers) . Then we went to JB Museum. Haha this is my 1st time to visit the museum also. Then we went to bukit timbalan to see the most beautiful building at JB.
After that we went to Tebrau City. Again shopping…..We shopped from 4 something till around 7pm. Then we went to Permas Jaya for the famous Senibong Nasi Lemak. Hey guys see how lucky u are, every meal we bring u all to famous place to eat le.We ate nasi lemak, ikan bakar and satay..All are super unhealthy food…but den tasty so is worth even if get IHD 
Continue JB trip again to Danga Bay. So long didnt go to that place alr. The place had changed so much and is now a beautiful place for dating with all the lighting which made the place looks romantic. After that we were supposed to go back huan’s place but then again haha im lost…Since i had taken a wrong way then i might as well bring Jackie n Ben to see JB pondan. Normally the place that i brought them should be full of pondan but then maybe their luck not that good, we only see 3 or 4 not very high standard gals.
Day 3—-7/8/06
Woke up early today. Went to Post office to pick Siaw up.We had breakfast at Hua Mei..Another famous place for toast bread and chicken chop. After breakfast we went to Kukup. As this month is the chinese Hungry Ghost festival, not many ppl will visit a fishing village like kukup. Thus 12 of us got a chance to stay in a place that is meant for 40 ppl. The place was so spacious and well fascilitated. The place had changed a lot compare with the last time i visited the place. We went to visited the Pulau Kukup Mangrove Swamp and Kelong after a seafood lunch. After that went back chalet and had desert. Played mahjong, ping pong, and Karaoke till evening. We were really treated like VVIP there.
We had a BBQ session which we had own chef to BBQ things for us at our place. The food there damn nice , we ate till stomach wanna explode. Then we went out and watch the hungry ghost festive "ge tai". Witnessed a China lady eating glass on stage…amazing but didnt look convincing to me tho. Around 10pm we went back our place and started another activity—Fish catching.We catch some small fish using the net at our place. We played with the fish till around 12am. Actually we also dunno wats the point of catching the fish but just for fun la as all of us are city dweller that seldom see these thingy.After bath( got heater this time) continue mahjong session.Me, Huan, n Paul played till 4.30 am while Ben n Cheemz sang karaoke. Oh ya Siaw was with us till quite late oso altho he was busy with his own stuffs.
Day 4—-8/8/06
Since last night we slept so ‘early’ so is expected we wake up very ‘early’ this morning also. We had a late breakfast ( porridge, roti canai, nasi lemak etc).We finished breakfast around 11am. Kher Dee the kukup-ian bring us to Tanjung Pia the southernmost tip of Asia.It is actualy a national mangrove park and as usual we took lots of pictures. There is actually a world heritage which according the person in charged is called Ramsa…important wetland. After the visit we went for another seafood lunch. This round the dishes was even more sumptous. We had fish, crabs, prawns, and , clams and many more. YS peeled a prawn 4 huan as he bet something wid huan and he lost..wahaha..After lunch we rushed back to pack up and prepared to leave kukup.
We reached JB around 4pm. Then we all did a very important thing—checking the CVS result. Its kinda mood spoiling thing to do in the middle of our trip but we just cant wait since we knew the result are out. After that me and huan went to buy famous genting rojak ( famous again huh) on our way back home after sending Jem and YS back home. By the time we reached home it is around 6.30pm. Around 7.30pm we went to shop for the last time.We went to Zon and went for fish head bee hoon as dinner. As some of them were not full after the dinner , we went on to Pelangi hawker but too bad we forgot that day got pasar malam and the hawker centre was closed. Never mind we then went to Tebrau hawker centre thinking that there must had something to eat. Who knows there was helding a hungry ghost festive ceremony and the whole hawker centre was closed.:( So unlucky la they all no chance to taste JB hawker food. In fact as a Johorian since i was born this is the 1st time i saw tebrau hawker centre closed…haha.No choice but to go back home. The night is still young so we decided to had a small gamble session. We slept around 2am which is the earliest record throughout the whole trip.
Day5—-9/8/06
Finally our trip had come to an end. We woke up super early today around 6.45am coz huan need to go KL for her brother’s convo. As we were all so not used to wake up early all of us had a hard time to get ready. A bit disorientated when we leave huan’s place. Me & Kher Dee brought them to some where near Hyatt for breakfast. After breakfast we sent them to Larkin. Waited about 1 hr, their bus came. Sending them off around 9am. I went back straight to my home sweet home and zzz for 4 hours….
Here goes our 5 days 4 nights JB trip. Hopefully u guys enjoyed the trip and had a wonderful moment here. Now i had to on diet for at least 2 weeks in order to compensate the weight i gained these few days…haizzz
